Solar Green Energies - Ontario's Solar Provider
Solar Green Energies is utilising the Government initiated microFIT Program, which commenced on May 9, 2009, in order to install FREE solar panel systems onto domestic properties in parts of Toronto and London. We were initially looking for only 1000 homes, however due to huge demand we are now looking for at least 3000 homes.
How can we do this? We don’t give the panels to the Homeowner, not initially (see FAQ). We simply install our panels on the Homeowner’s roof and pay them a fee for this, because under the FIT Scheme we will be paid a Generation Tariff for ALL the electricity that our panels generate This Tariff is guaranteed for 20 years. At the end of this contract the solar panels will then be owned by the home owner at no extra cost.
Our own service is particularly suitable for people who want Solar PV, but who can’t afford it, or for those who CAN afford it but would rather spend their money on another home improvement.

Recently, the Ontario Government made a commitment to reduce coal-fired electricity generation by 2014. In order to support this plan, the Ontario government is providing homeowners with the ability to sell “green” power back to the electricity grid, while guaranteeing a standard return rate over 20 year.
